And only FOUR DAYS left to enter the fingerless mitts giveaway! Thanks to all of those who have entered, hello to all the new followers (i love new followers!), and keep sharing the fingerless mitt love :)

Two years since we said, "I do." Whoa. Where has the time gone?! Looking back at the blog post the day after we got married brings back such sweet emotions.

I'm going to split this post into two parts, mostly because I have way too many beautiful pictures I want to share with you from our little anniversary trip to Utah!

St. George, Utah was first on our stop. We visited a little mini museum run by "daughters of the pioneers" and were told some of the history of Brigham Young, a Mormon leader whose winter home was in St. George. While driving through the town square, we saw a Mormon church by tabernacle street. I think Mormon churches and tabernacles are absolutely beautiful.

Teepees and Clydesdales pulling horse-drawn carriages?! I love St. George.

We had breakfast for lunch at Cracker Barrel. This is a big deal because we don't have one of these in Vegas. We've got casinos, we've got strippers, we've got buffets and lots of weirdness, but no Cracker Barrel. Or Chick-Fil-A. They need to get their priorities straight.

Parowan: just outside of Brian Head! My home-away-from-home.

I was beyond excited to see the aspens change colors. I'm talking ridiculously excited about this. See those trees down below? They're not aspens... And that was the extent of leaf-color-changing I saw. Womp. Womp.

When we finally found a place to set up camp, I took the boogs on a walk. This is what I found: it was absolutely gorgeous. The colors don't even do it justice, with the bare aspens blocking some of the view. They are these gorgeous red rocks, like the ones in nearby Zion and Kolob Canyon. Sunset and sunrise made them especially gorgeous.
